Privacy policy

Pallet Forecast (palletforecast.com) is operated by Chesapeake Pallets LLC. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Forms you send us: your name, company, email, phone, ZIP code and what you tell us about your pallet needs or business.
• Newsletter signups: your email address.
• Purchases: when you buy a plan or product, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your card and billing details. We receive your name, email, billing address, company and tax ID if you give one, and what you bought. We never see or store your full card number.
• Site analytics: page views and general device and location information, collected by Vercel Web Analytics without advertising cookies.

Calculators run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.

How we use it

• To answer your request, including getting you pallet quotes.
• To send the newsletter you asked for.
• To deliver what you bought, send receipts and account notices, manage your subscription, and keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
• To run and improve the site.

Who we share it with

• Suppliers you ask us to contact. When you request quotes or offer pallets for sale, we share your request with Chesapeake Pallets (our sister company) or with a partner supplier who serves your area. Some partner suppliers pay us for referrals. We share only the request you sent and only with the supplier that will respond to it.
• Service providers that run the site for us: hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe), our email and newsletter providers, and the messaging app our team uses to receive requests.
• When the law requires it.

We do not sell newsletter subscriber lists or customer lists.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sharing of it beyond the supplier you asked us to contact. To use any of these rights, email editor@palletforecast.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any issue.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing editor@palletforecast.com.
