What you get

AAA pallets are sorted from the best recycled cores: clean, uniform deck boards with little or no visible repair. They are close enough to new for a customer-facing load at a recycled price.

Spec: Clean, uniform deck boards, no visible repairs. Also sold as Premium recycled, near-new. Best for retail, display and customer-facing loads.

What moves the AAA price

AAA comes from the top slice of returning pallets, which makes it the scarcest recycled grade and the most expensive. Ask how many AAA pallets a supplier can sort each week before you set up a standing order. Track the inputs on the pallet market indicators.

Range: Chesapeake Pallets' published AAA 48x40 quote range (our sister company), October 15, 2026. The 3-month figure applies the PFX forecast (how it's built).

Questions buyers ask

How much is a AAA 48x40 pallet?

$8.50–$10.50 per pallet, delivered by the full truckload (616 pallets), as of October 15, 2026. Smaller orders usually cost more per pallet.

Is AAA the same as Premium or Club?

Sellers use all three names for their top recycled tier, and none of them has a shared definition. Ask for photos of the actual sort and spell out what you will accept in the PO.
