What you get

Block pallets stand on nine blocks instead of three stringers, so forklifts and pallet jacks can enter from all four sides. These are white-wood block pallets you own. A full truck holds fewer of them than stringer pallets because each one stands taller.

Spec: Full 4-way entry for forklifts and pallet jacks. White-wood block pallets, not pooled. Also sold as CHEP-style, 9-block. Best for pallet-jack-heavy docks, retail distribution.

What moves the recycled block price

Many 48x40 block pallets in the U.S. belong to the CHEP and PECO rental pools and can't be resold, so white-wood block cores are a smaller supply than stringer cores. That supply, repair labor and freight set the price. Track the inputs on the pallet market indicators.

Range: Chesapeake Pallets' published Recycled block 48x40 quote range (our sister company), October 15, 2026. The 3-month figure applies the PFX forecast (how it's built).

Questions buyers ask

How much is a Recycled block 48x40 pallet?

$6.25–$8.50 per pallet, delivered by the full truckload (520 pallets), as of October 15, 2026. Smaller orders usually cost more per pallet.

Are recycled block pallets the same as CHEP pallets?

No. CHEP (blue) and PECO (red) block pallets are rented and stay the pool's property, so they can't be bought or resold. Recycled white-wood block pallets are yours once you pay for them.
