What you get
New 48x40s give the most consistent strength and dimensions of any grade. Buyers order them when a customer's spec calls for new, when they need a size or build recycled supply can't fill, or when an automated line needs pallets that match load after load.
Spec: Built new from lumber, so the price moves with the lumber market. Quoted per order. Also sold as New GMA-style, built to spec. Best for customers whose spec calls for new, custom sizes and builds.
What moves the price of new pallets
New pallets are built from fresh lumber, so hardwood and softwood lumber prices drive them directly. Freight and the size of the order come next, which is why new pallets are quoted per order instead of published as a range. Track the inputs on the pallet market indicators.
Chesapeake Pallets (our sister company) quotes new pallets per order. The 3-month figure applies the PFX forecast (how it's built).

- Grade A 48x40: $6.75–$8.75

Questions buyers ask
How much is a New 48x40 pallet?
New pallets are quoted per order. The price follows lumber, so ask for a quote with your spec and quantity.
When do I need new pallets instead of recycled?
When your customer's spec requires new, when you need a custom size or build, or when an export, food or automated-line program calls for it. For most other uses a recycled 48x40 costs less.
