What you get

Grade B (#2) pallets show their repairs: plugs, metal plates or a companion stringer nailed beside a cracked one. They are structurally sound but worn, which is fine on the floor, in internal moves and on one-way shipments. If they will go on racking or a conveyor, check your equipment maker's pallet rules first.

Spec: Recycled and repaired. Plugs, plates and companion stringers allowed. Also sold as #2, standard recycled. Best for floor storage, internal moves, one-way shipments.

What moves the Grade B price

Grade B is built from cores that need repair, so its price follows how many used pallets are coming back and what repair labor costs. It is also where buyers land when Grade A gets tight, which can pull Grade B prices up behind it. Track the inputs on the pallet market indicators.

Range: Chesapeake Pallets' published Grade B 48x40 quote range (our sister company), October 15, 2026. The 3-month figure applies the PFX forecast (how it's built).
